Katharina Behrends, Managing Director of NBCUniversal Global Networks Deutschland is taking over the management of the company’s channels in Central and Eastern Europe, effective January 2018.

Behrends has been heading the German-speaking operations of NBCUniversal for the past nine years. She will be also overseeing Benelux from next year.

“Every market in Europe is different. We are very aware of this when we pull the strings from Munich,” Behrends told Handelsblatt. “We are responding to the different media markets with a tailor-made channel strategy and content curated for the new markets.”
