Slovak folklore talent format The Land is Singing was officially presented during last week’s NATPE Miami 2018 market. Director and producer Peter Nunez, the owner of Nunez NFE – the production company-creator of the format, presented the format and was officially presented the Pitch&Play Live award which it won during last year’s NATPE Budapest market. Part of the prize for the best non-fiction format from CEE was the initiation of numerous meetings with potential sales partners interested in the format.

Medialne.sk quotes Nunez who commented that “"It was a great feeling. I was really in shock. After the presentation, informal meetings with about twenty companies were organized, with people from Chile, USA, Japan, Turkey and other countries. If at least a ten of the negotiations are successful, it would be amazing”.

Slovak pubcaster STV1 is currently airing the second season of the format.
