TVP announced that the 5th International Television Festival & Heart of Europe Forum will take place from September 30 to October 3, 2025. Organized by Telewizja Polska, this exceptional event will once again bring together creators and broadcasters from Central and Eastern Europe in Warsaw.

The event will feature a TV production competition in the following categories: fiction film, fiction series, documentary, entertainment program, children and youth program, and digital. The festival is aimed at public broadcasters from CEE countries, including the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Croatia, Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Georgia, and Poland. Participants will have the opportunity to showcase the most exciting productions in their current slate.

For many years, the festival has been accompanied by the Heart of Europe Forum, which hosts panel discussions and pitching sessions in three categories: feature film, series, and documentary. Projects at any stage of development are eligible to compete. As in previous years, the organizers will select up to 10 projects in each of the three categories from the submitted entries. These will be presented in Warsaw before an international jury. Creators from Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Ukraine, Georgia, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Romania, Belarus, Moldova, Bulgaria, and Poland are invited to participate.

The Forum serves as a platform that connects creators and producers with esteemed experts from the television and film industry.
